We are seeking an experienced Dining Services Lead to oversee all Compass Group UK&I catering and service operations for Chartwells on a part-time basis, contracted to 30 hours per week. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our dining facilities and delivering exceptional food experiences to our customers. The estimated annual salary for this role is £43,000.

About the Role

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supervising our culinary and catering teams, maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment, and delivering impeccable food and customer service. Your shift pattern will include working full-time (days) on Mondays to Fridays with no shifts on Saturdays or Sundays. This role is contracted to 44 weeks per year.

Key Responsibilities
  • Culinary Expertise: Prepare delicious food to the highest standards and maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise our culinary and catering teams to ensure we continue to deliver impeccable food and customer service.
  • Communication: Communicate regularly with your line manager to monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and targets.
  • Brand Representation: Represent Compass Group UK&I and maintain a positive brand image.
