Job Description: Our client, a prominent leader in the Building Control sector, is seeking a highly skilled Inspector of Building Compliance to join their team in the South Coast area.

As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections of buildings to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and codes. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in building control, with extensive experience in the HTP sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducting thorough inspections of buildings to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and codes.
  • Reviewing plans and specifications for building control.
  • Producing detailed inspection reports, highlighting any issues or areas of non-compliance.
  • Advising project teams on regulatory requirements and potential risks.
  • Collaborating with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of building control regulations and best practices.

Requirements:
  • Registration as a Building Inspector 2a or above.
  • Extensive experience in building control within the HTP sector.
  • Thorough understanding of UK building regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to travel to various project sites.
