Lead Digital Design Team at Kandou Bus

Kandou Bus, a pioneering leader in high-speed and energy-efficient chip-chip link solutions, is seeking a seasoned Digital Design Manager to lead our multi-site digital design team in the UK, Switzerland, or Germany.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a diverse team of digital designers, including hiring, resourcing, scheduling, upskilling, mentoring, performance reviews, and reporting.
  • Continuously improve design methodologies to meet the demands of quality and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with analogue design, physical design, and verification teams to identify design gaps and implement improvement actions.
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality designs through effective workload management and scheduling.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in the semiconductor industry, with a minimum of 3 years in a digital design leadership role.
  • Strong technical background in design of digital circuits in deep-submicron CMOS technologies.
  • Experience with mixed analog/digital circuits design.
  • Knowledge of Product Development Life Cycle and representing the digital design discipline at project gate exits and final sign-off.
  • Proven team building and leadership skills.
Desirable Skills:
  • Advanced knowledge of high-speed and low-power design techniques.
  • Scripting skills (Python preferred) and tool setup experience.
  • Understanding of Physical Design flows/challenges in deep sub-micron CMOS technologies.
