Join Initialize IT as a Business Analyst and contribute to the success of our Shared Information Services department. We are currently in the midst of an exciting ERP system implementation program, and we need your expertise to support it.
Key Responsibilities:- Work closely with Subject Matter Experts to elicit and define business, financial, and operational requirements for project work and 'business as usual' tasks.
- Conduct interviews or gather user requirements via meetings, questionnaires, or site visits and model the output using workflows, storyboards, use cases, scenarios, and other methods within a detailed specification.
- Create new process flows for operational procedures, e.g., on-boarding new staff, managing staff moves, provision of user support.
- Carry out testing (unit, system, regression) and co-ordinate UAT, involving writing detailed use cases, scenarios, and test cases.
- Participate in or contribute to user support via our global service desk as and when required.
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Business Analyst with a minimum of 3 years' solid BA experience. A high level of written English is required, and you should be able to hit the ground running and become effective quickly.
Formal Education & Certification:A university degree or diploma in the field of Business Analysis, Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Business Administration, or 3 years' equivalent work experience is essential. A BCS Diploma in Business Analysis or equivalent is desirable.
Knowledge and Experience:- Experience with business and technical requirements analysis, elicitation, modelling, verification, and methodology development.
- Full software development lifecycle experience.
- Experience writing and executing test cases.
Able to communicate effectively with non-technical staff and with technical members of interdisciplinary teams. Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, oral, and presentation communication skills are essential.
