Job Title: Maintenance Support Technician

Join our team at Shorterm Group as a Maintenance Support Technician and take on a challenging role that requires a combination of electrical and mechanical skills. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for carrying out fault finding, examination, maintenance, and repairs on our customers' fleets of traction and rolling stock across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attend to faults and failures, carrying out repairs and performing inspections on a variety of rail vehicles
  • Lone working to diagnose and fix issues with electrical and mechanical systems and machinery
  • Work to a 7-day roster, including afternoons, nights, bank holidays, and weekend shifts as required

Requirements:

  • Level 3 Apprenticeship in a relevant electrical or mechanical discipline
  • Full UK driving license
  • Ability to pass PTS
  • Experience with both electrical and mechanical work, ideally in rolling stock or similar
