Our Opportunity:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Livestock Manager to join our team. As our new member, you will play a key role in overseeing the health and productivity of our 300-cow milking herd, ensuring compliance with organic and farm assurance standards, and maintaining high standards for the farm.
Main Responsibilities:- Milking and herd health management
- Record keeping and data analysis
- Compliance with organic and farm assurance standards
- Herd productivity optimization
- Grassland management
- Ai and foot trimming skills
- Pace Keenan Feeding knowledge (preferable)
- Uniform Agri Software expertise (preferable)
- Grazing-based System understanding (preferable)
- Hold a valid UK driving licence
- A competitive salary of £35,000 depending on experience
- A permanent full-time position with 55-60 hours per week
- A 3-bedroom house with double garage located on-farm in a village setting
- A yearly accommodation cost of £250
- 31 days holiday pro-rata including bank holidays
- Enrolment onto our company pension scheme after 3 months
