Job Title: Automotive Production Supervisor

Workforce Staffing Ltd is seeking an experienced Automotive Production Supervisor to join our team in Halewood, Liverpool. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for supervising labor to ensure the smooth operation of cleaning and waste operations.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and plan operational cleaning activities, including overtime requirements, to provide timely delivery of services to a standard that meets and exceeds customer expectations.
  • Supervise and plan operational waste collections/processing activities, including constant review and amendment of waste assignments.
  • Work alongside production associates, leading all current initiatives, and ensuring there is waste cover/ownership of all areas in the most efficient manner.
  • Oversee operational resources to ensure efficient working both as teams.
  • Ensure that required cleaning activities are delivered as and when required by the appropriate.
  • Complete safety observation checks on all operatives.
  • Ensure that cleaning operations are undertaken in a safe manner, with special focus on ensuring all necessary risk assessments and method statements are available and up to date.
Requirements:
  • Relevant cleaning and waste experience.
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations and legislation.
  • Experience of leading and supporting teams.
  • A Level or equivalent qualification.
  • People management experience.
  • Familiarity with an automotive manufacturing environment.
  • History of effectively handling customer queries and complaints.

  • Leadership skills with the ability to effectively delegate tasks.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritise tasks as required, and work to tight deadlines.
  • Confident communicator with excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Proven aptitude for problem solving.
  • Computer literacy (Microsoft Office suite).

  • Ability to build relationships with people at all levels of an organisation.
  • Organised and capable of working off own initiative.
