Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Plumbing and Heating Specialist to join our team at Wilkie & Gillan Ltd in East Lothian and Edinburgh. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing and heating systems in kitchens and bathrooms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, service, and repair plumbing and heating systems, ensuring the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with other trades to complete full kitchen and bathroom renovations efficiently.
  • Diagnose faults and perform necessary repairs.
  • Work on domestic and light commercial projects.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain professionalism on-site.

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing & Heating (or equivalent).
  • Gas Safe registration (essential).
  • Proven experience in domestic plumbing, particularly kitchens and bathrooms.
  • Full UK driving licence (clean driving record required).
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
