**Job Summary**

IN2 Consult is seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant to join our team in Oxford. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing group management accounts, statutory financial statements, and monthly reporting activities.

**About the Role**

The ideal candidate will be Newly Qualified ACA/ACCA and come from an accounting practice with strong knowledge of IFRS and technical reporting. This role would be suited to a first-time mover looking for a step into industry.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial data.
  • Revenue Accounting: Own revenue accounting (IFRS 15), including application and knowledge transfer to the wider team.
  • Contract Modelling: Assess and model key contracts in line with IFRS 15, including new contract wins and contract modifications.
  • Lease Accounting: Support the lease accounting process (IFRS 16).
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP) and internal policies.

**Requirements**

  • Newly Qualified ACA/ACCA
  • Good understanding of IFRS or UK GAAP, with the ability to interpret and apply these standards in an industry setting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with strong data manipulation and analysis skills.
  • Experience with financial software or ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar) is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of consolidation and group reporting.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
  • Team player who can collaborate effectively across functions while also working independently when needed.

**Salary and Location**

We are offering a competitive salary of £55,000 - £60,000 + Bonus, plus benefits, in a hybrid work environment in Oxford.
