About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and forward-thinking Speech and Language Therapist to join our team at Meath School. As a Specialist Speech and Language Therapist, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, and delivering individualized intervention programs for a defined caseload of students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and develop individualized intervention programs for students with speech and language needs
  • Work with students individually or in small groups to promote meaningful engagement in school-based tasks
  • Collaborate with teachers and other therapists to ensure seamless integration of therapy services into the curriculum
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of outreach programs to support students and families

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Speech and Language Therapy or related field
  • Experience working with students with speech and language needs in a specialist educational setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and training
