Global Procurement Strategist

We are seeking a highly skilled Global Procurement Lead to join our team at Ganymede. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing global purchasing strategies for high-value engineered components.

Working closely with our Group CFO, you will analyze historical purchasing data to identify key areas for improvement in our supply chain. Your initial focus will be on developing a global strategy that streamlines our buying process, reduces costs, and improves commercial terms with our suppliers.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Negotiating with suppliers to secure better prices and commercial terms
• Identifying opportunities for mutually beneficial partnerships with clients
• Leveraging international buying power to maximize supply chain value
• Reviewing supplier performance and identifying new suppliers to reduce risk
• Collaborating with international site leaders to understand purchasing issues at a local level

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Significant experience in a senior procurement role, preferably in an engineering or high-value component environment
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Excellent commercial acumen and ability to analyze complex data
• Autonomy to make independent decisions and drive strategic initiatives
