About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Engineer to join our team at Octagon Group in Redhill, Surrey.

As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for identifying new target markets and helping the company expand its presence in the scientific instrumentation industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize your expertise in sales and marketing to provide customers with products and services that meet their individual needs.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to pursue them.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Work closely with the product development team to ensure that products meet customer needs and expectations.
  • Perform market research to stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activity.

Requirements:

  • A degree-level education in a scientific, mathematical, or highly technical subject.
  • Professional experience in a technical sales or marketing environment.
  • Availability for occasional international travel.
  • A people person with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with CRM or sales management platforms is an advantage.
