We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Nurse to join our team at Julia's House Dorset/Wiltshire Children's Hospices. As a key member of our nursing team, you will provide exceptional care and support to children with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions, as well as their families.
Main ResponsibilitiesAs a Team Nurse, you will be responsible for:
- Assessing care needs and developing, implementing, and evaluating programs of care to meet individual client needs.
- Managing a team of Carers and providing day-to-day supervision and teaching.
- Participating in an on-call rota system to provide telephone support for care staff and families.
- Liaising with the Julias House Care Team and statutory and voluntary agencies involved in client care.
We are looking for a candidate with:
- Any of the following qualifications: RSCN/RN (Child Branch) diploma or degree, Registered Learning Disability Nurse, RGN, RN Adult Safeguarding Awareness Level 3.
- Two years of relevant post-qualification experience at Band 5 or above.
- Experience of caring for and working alongside families in their own environment.
- Ability to work both in a team and independently or with minimal supervision.
