QHSE Advisor Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled QHSE Advisor to join our client's team in Basingstoke. As a QHSE Advisor, you will provide expert support for engineering projects, specifically in relation to the Project Quality Management System.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert support for engineering projects, specifically in relation to the Project Quality Management System.
  • Assist in the implementation and management of QHSE Management Systems for other business areas.
  • Monitor and ensure strict adherence to corporate and project QHSE requirements, as well as compliance with applicable local regulations.
  • Contribute to the execution of audits against key management system standards, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
  • Support corporate reporting initiatives for the business and other business areas.
  • Facilitate the alignment of departmental procedures with overarching corporate requirements.
  • Provide administrative support within the HSEQ department, including the management of the Company Library and Archive and assisting with procurement processes.
  • Collaborate with General Services to ensure the building's compliance with HSE standards.
Key Requirements:
  • In-depth knowledge of QHSE systems, tools, and best practices.
  • Proven experience in maintaining and operating management systems aligned with ISO standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Certification as an auditor in ISO 9001, ISO 14001, or ISO 45001 is highly desirable.
  • Prior experience in the Energy sector is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated experience in QHSE project support is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of UK health, safety, and environmental laws and regulations is desirable.
  • Familiarity with Facilities or Building Maintenance activities is considered an asset.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or professional qualifications in QHSE-related disciplines are highly desirable.
