Deloitte is seeking a highly skilled Senior Consultant to join our team in SAP Financial Controlling. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and building core finance functionality using SAP Best Practices for large-scale S/4HANA transformation programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead or participate in teams to design and build core finance functionality using SAP Best Practices
  • Deliver fit-to-standard workshops or requirement-driven workshops to clients for your functional areas
  • Provide SAP knowledge across one or more SAP functional areas and configure S/4HANA as per the solution design
  • Produce high-quality deliverables and documentation
  • Prepare functional specifications for developers with a good grasp of the SAP structures and options
  • Participate in practice development activities that support sales activities and internal capability development
Requirements:
  • Hands-on experience in core SAP Finance (FICO) mainly Controlling and PaPM
  • Hands-on experience in integrating data sources from different applications into PaPM for use in calculation models
  • Ability to articulate core use cases for PaPM, beyond capabilities in the core SAP products
  • Understanding of both Agile and Waterfall implementation methodologies
  • Experience in configuration of S/4HANA & PaPM and documenting functional specifications where development objects are required
  • Strong communication skills (written and oral) whether this is with the client team or remote developers
  • Understanding of working in a Consulting environment and the differences compared to an in-house SAP capability or working as an independent contractor
  • Experience of facilitating fit-to-standard workshops and translating the requirements into design
  • Ability to forge good professional relationships with your leaders and peers
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Qualified/Part-Qualified ACA/CIMA/ACCA or equivalent
  • Security Clearance, to be able to support activities in the Public Sector (TP)
