We are seeking an experienced and skilled New Build Residential Property Solicitor to join our team at William James Recruitment. As a leading recruitment agency, we specialize in placing top talent in the legal industry.
About the Role
- Manage a caseload of new build property matters from inception to conclusion, including sales and purchase, right to buy, shared ownership schemes, and lease extensions.
- Maintain efficient systems to diarise and ensure all deadlines are met.
- Demonstrate excellent client care, apply technical knowledge, and communicate complex legal matters in a commercially astute and understandable format.
- Build lasting working relationships with clients and house builder referrers.
- Liaise directly with clients, estate agents, and lenders.
- Develop professional relationships with clients and other potential sources of work.
- Generate a fee income in line with agreed targets.
- Manage, supervise, train, and develop support staff.
- Contribute to the team's business development activities and budgets to drive growth in new build work.
About You
- Previous experience working on new build purchase and sales matters.
- Hold a relevant qualification.
- Commitment to providing an excellent standard of client care.
- Commercially astute, with an understanding of business targets and their impact on the practice.
- Experience in assisting with or managing, supervising, training, and developing support staff.
- Thorough working knowledge of conveyancing practice and procedures.
- Organized, process-driven, and IT-literate, with experience using a case management system.
- Credible past and consistent billing/financial performance.
