HGV / Refuse Vehicle Technician Vacancy

We are seeking a skilled HGV / Refuse Vehicle Technician to join our client’s workshop in Brentwood, Essex. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a variety of commercial vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and repair HGVs and refuse collection vehicles to a high standard
  • Diagnose and rectify faults using diagnostic equipment and tablets
  • Work efficiently and effectively to meet deadlines and targets
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements:
  • Level 3 HGV / Refuse Vehicle Technician qualification
  • Valid HGV Class 1 Licence (or willingness to obtain)
  • Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Benefits:
  • Competitive salary of £18 per hour (increasing to £19 per hour after probation)

  • Contracted working hours: 47.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 7.00am-4.00pm, alternate Saturdays 7.00am-12.00pm
