About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Phoenix Learning and Care Group. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing 24-hour care and support to two young boys, Alex and Chris, who require a stable and nurturing environment to thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the children in their daily lives, including their physical, emotional, and educational needs.
  • Develop and maintain a safe and healthy environment for the children, ensuring their well-being and happiness.
  • Work collaboratively with the children's care team to ensure their needs are met and their plans are implemented.
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to the children, helping them to develop their skills and confidence.
  • Participate in the children's daily routines, including meal times, sleep times, and activities.
  • Keep accurate records of the children's progress and development, including their daily activities and any challenges they may face.

Requirements:

  • Patience, compassion, and resilience, with the ability to work with children who may have experienced trauma.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • A driving license, with the ability to drive the children to appointments and activities.
  • Flexibility, with the ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
  • A willingness to learn and develop your skills, with a commitment to ongoing training and professional development.
