About the Role

Your new firm is a leading, top 50 accountancy firm with a strong regional presence and a respected reputation. Following a period of growth and expansion, they are seeking experienced accounting professionals to join their team, offering excellent progression opportunities for ambitious candidates to further their careers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support to senior members of staff to deliver an excellent accountancy service.
  • Prepare year-end and management accounts, calculate corporation tax and personal tax liabilities, and offer tax planning ideas.
  • Manage and cultivate client relationships, supporting clients with software such as Xero.
  • Assist with the coaching of junior associates, reviewing their work.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need experience working in an accounts team within practice. Exposure in all aspects of accountancy and coaching junior members will be beneficial. Ideally, you will be ACA/ACCA part-qualified or at a finalist level. The organisation is looking for an individual with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as the role is client-facing, as well as good analytical and review skills with a strong attention to detail.
