Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team at a leading FMCG manufacturing company. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production lines and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on various types of machinery, including conveyors, packaging equipment, and labellers.
- Carry out fault-finding and repair work on mechanical and electrical systems, including control panels and PLC programmes.
- Install and upgrade new equipment, and perform preventative maintenance tasks to minimize downtime.
- Work collaboratively with other engineers and production staff to resolve technical issues and improve overall efficiency.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a similar role.
- Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills, with experience working with control panels and PLC programmes.
- NVQ Level 3 or higher in Mechanical or Electrical engineering/maintenance.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
