Job Title: Mechanical Inspection Specialist - Lift & Crane

About the Role:

As a Mechanical Inspection Specialist - Lift & Crane at Bureau Veritas Group, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and compliance of lifting equipment. Your expertise will be utilized to conduct high-quality inspections, leveraging Bureau Veritas's industry-leading tools to produce comprehensive reports.

Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct inspections of lifting equipment, including MEWPS, HIAB, Cranes, and FLT's, to ensure compliance with LOLER & PUWER regulations.
  2. Operate within agreed authorities, inspection, and health and safety standards, maintaining a customer-focused approach.
  3. Deliver comprehensive inspection reports, enabling real-time on-site reporting and immediate client access.
  4. Act as a trusted advisor to high-profile clients, demonstrating expertise and staying informed of the latest changes in relevant standards and legislation.

Requirements:

  • Minimum NVQ4, City and Guilds 4, HNC, HND, or equivalent mechanical engineering qualification for Lift & Crane.
  • LEEAP qualifications are preferred alongside a relevant mechanically biased engineering qualification.
  • Minimum three to five years' post-qualification experience working with relevant discipline-specific equipment.
  • Current Clean UK driving license.
