We are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Activities Coordinator to join our team at the Frenchay Brain Injury Rehabilitation Centre (FBIRC) in Bristol.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing a social, recreational, and leisure activity program in partnership with our existing Activities Coordinators.

This will involve individual and group activities within the unit and the wider community, working closely with the multi-disciplinary therapy team.

The post holder will personally run and deliver some of the activities and also support staff to be involved in the activity program.

The post also involves driving the Centre Minibus and Car.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver a range of social, recreational, and leisure activities for patients in the acute rehabilitation setting.
  • Work closely with the multi-disciplinary therapy team to ensure activities are tailored to meet the needs of patients.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external organizations to access community resources and activities.
  • Drive the Centre Minibus and Car as required.
Requirements
  • Experience in running groups and delivering activities in a rehabilitation setting.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and under own initiative.
  • Valid driving license and ability to drive the Centre Minibus and Car.
