Assembly Technician Role
Vibe Recruit is seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team. As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for the build and assembly of equipment, purpose built to customer specification.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical wiring and mechanical assembly, as well as experience with power tools and hand tools. You will be part of a small but skilled team, who focus on product quality and quality of service to their customers.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- The wiring of systems, working from electrical drawings.
- The mechanical build and assemble of components and final systems assembly.
- The fabrication and build of pipework, pumps and control systems.
- The use of ABS Solvent & PVC gluing and the testing of systems.
Requirements:
- A desire and ability to learn, follow instruction and be trained to become a Multi-Skilled Technician is key.
- Previous assembly experience is desirable
- Basic electrical wiring skills
- Ability to use or be trained in the use of power tools for assembly tasks
- Experience in the use of hand tools
- Good practical assembly and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- A Driving Licence is advantageous
