Workshop Supervisor

An exciting opportunity has arisen at our multi-site Kia and Vauxhall in Chester for an experienced Workshop Controller to join our dynamic team. As a Workshop Controller, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the workshop, ensuring the service and repair technicians achieve their daily targets. Your role will involve supervising and motivating the team, reviewing and prioritizing the daily workload, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction by implementing relevant quality checks.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all working practices comply with company, DVSA, health and safety, and OEM policy.
- Ensure all service work is carried out correctly, competently, and on time, with customer satisfaction in mind.
- Develop and maintain relationships with the vehicle manufacturer and provide support to technicians during repairs, ensuring high standards are achieved and maintained within the workshop and surrounding areas.
- Liaise with colleagues and other departments to ensure a top-quality service for customers.
- Schedule work to meet customer needs, taking into account workshop targets, the complexity of each job, and the availability of parts.
- Assist with technical challenges by going above and beyond to support the team and writing technical reports.
Requirements
We are looking for a friendly, confident, and enthusiastic individual who is able to roll their sleeves up and work as part of the team. A full valid UK driving license is a must.
