Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Officer to join our team at Doncaster Council. As the main administrator for the Buy Doncaster website, you will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and supporting the development of the platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain the Buy Doncaster website, ensuring it is up-to-date and running smoothly.
  • Provide technical oversight and support to our traded service providers and customers.
  • Further promote effective working practices of self-sufficiency with both our Providers and Customers.
  • Contribute to the development of the Buy Doncaster website, ensuring it meets the needs of our users.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent technical skills, including experience with website development and administration.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to work.
  • Knowledge of digital services and their application in a local government context.
