About This Role:


We are looking for a Digital Security Architect Lead to join our team at State Street Corporation.



Job Summary:


The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing secure architectures for our digital platforms, as well as providing expertise in security risk assessment, threat modeling, and vulnerability analysis.



Key Responsibilities:



  2. Design and implement secure architectures for digital platforms
  3. Provide expertise in security risk assessment, threat modeling, and vulnerability analysis
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security considerations are embedded in early architecture designs
  5. Develop and maintain reusable security reference architecture patterns
  6. Support the development of technical security standards and their enforcement across the organization
  7. Work closely with IAM architects, Cloud Architects, Solution Architects, Security teams, and other stakeholders
  8. Participate in regular security audits and compliance activities
  9. Review vendor product security and ensure a shared responsibility model is in place
  10. Guide teams through security-related governance processes
  11. Hands-on experience in working with AD in both on-premises and hybrid environments, including Azure AD (Microsoft Entra ID)
  12. Virtual leadership experience with ability to effectively drive results, provide feedback/direction, and manage and build relationships with leaders and team members in a geographically dispersed team environment
  13. Experience in security engineering, with a focus on hybrid and multi-cloud solutions
  14. Knowledge of scripting, automation, and security analytics, and attack path analysis tools


Requirements:



  • Mult-year (>3 years) experience within Cybersecurity including SecOps, penetration testing, security analytics, threat hunting, and/or security architecture
  • Bachelor's degree in cyber security, Computer Science, or related technical discipline, with >3 years of experience
  • Experience with security observability and identity threat monitoring in hybrid cloud environments
  • Proven ability to independently drive transformational security projects cross-organization
  • Knowledge of security testing and penetration testing tools and techniques, and with security analytics tools and platforms
  • Preference for candidates who have had experience in security analytics, security research, offensive security, or advanced threat prevention teams
