Paraplanner Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Paraplanner to join our team at our Guildford office. As a Paraplanner, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional client experiences by providing technical research services and ensuring the preparation of client advice is of the highest quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support to Planners and wealth administrators on areas such as tax, legislation, and product knowledge.
  • Prepare Voyant cash flow forecasts and ensure they meet the required standards.
  • Work closely with the Planners and wealth administrators to coordinate tasks and ensure timely delivery of client advice.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the advice process and suitability letter requirements.
Requirements:
  • Strong background in the Financial Services industry.
  • Level 4 Qualification - CII Regulated Diploma in Financial Planning or CISI Investment Advice Diploma preferable.
  • Previous experience within an IFA or Wealth Management company.
  • Knowledge of paraplanning and client support processes and understanding of risk.
  • Good working knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Familiar with Voyant software.
  • Ability to manage and delegate tasks quickly and work with limited supervision to tight deadlines.
