About the Role

Norgine is seeking a highly skilled Medical Science Liaison to join our Medical Affairs team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in establishing and maintaining trusted relationships with healthcare professionals in the medical community.

As a Medical Science Liaison, you will be responsible for providing scientific expertise and support to our business, while also contributing to the development of our therapeutic area knowledge. You will work closely with our cross-functional teams to identify and address unmet needs in the market, and to develop strategies to enhance patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • External Expert Engagement: Identify and engage with key healthcare professionals for non-promotional scientific exchanges in relevant therapeutic areas.
  • External Engagement: Act as a liaison between the company and the medical community to enhance therapeutic area knowledge, address unmet needs, and improve patient care.
  • Insight to Action: Gather and relay strategic insights to inform internal decision-making, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Scientific Knowledge and Expertise: Maintain and apply in-depth knowledge of therapeutic areas, including patient pathways, current research, and treatment options.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with medical and commercial teams to meet the needs of healthcare professionals and optimize external engagement plans.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A medical degree, pharmacy degree, or PhD in biomedical sciences, or a nurse with significant clinical experience and scientific acumen in oncology or rare diseases.
  • Several years of pharmaceutical industry experience as an MSL.
  • Strong ability to communicate and interpret complex data effectively.
  • Experience building strong customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions.
