About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced Community Mental Health Nurse/Social Worker to join our team at the Newham Early Intervention Service (NEIS). The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality services to individuals with recent onset psychosis, working closely with community organisations and healthcare professionals.

Main Responsibilities
  • Assess and deliver interventions to individuals with serious mental health difficulties
  • Supervise junior staff and students, promoting professional development and best practice
  • Work effectively with community organisations, including training and health promotion initiatives

The ideal candidate will have experience of working with people who have serious mental health difficulties, carrying out assessments, and supervising junior staff. A strong understanding of early intervention in psychosis and ability to prioritise and manage workload are essential.

We offer a competitive salary of £43,041 - £69,282 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits such as pension scheme, annual leave, and opportunities for professional development.
