Job Type: Long-term to permanent

Salary: £95-£105 per day

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Learning Support Assistant to join our team at an alternative provision in Swadlincote. The successful candidate will have a passion for supporting children with special educational needs and experience working with young people with Autism and challenging behaviour.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting children with Autism and challenging behaviour in a classroom setting
  • Assisting with lesson planning and delivery
  • Providing one-to-one support to students as needed
  • Collaborating with teachers and other support staff to ensure student success

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children with special educational needs
  • Knowledge of Autism and challenging behaviour
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
