Job Description:

In this SEN Teaching Assistant role, you will work closely with our experienced teaching staff to enhance the learning experience of SEN pupils. With your strong understanding of child development and learning theories, you will provide individualized support to pupils with varying special educational needs. Our aim is to create a supportive and inclusive environment where every child can thrive.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide daily support to SEN students, adapting your approach to meet their unique needs
  • Collaborate with therapists, class teachers, and the SENDCO to monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
  • Design and implement 1:1 and group support interventions to address specific learning goals

Requirements:
  • Possess a deep understanding of child psychology and learning principles
  • Have prior experience working with children with SEN (ASD, PMLD, SLD, SP&L)
  • Be an effective communicator and team player
