Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Adult Therapy Assistant to join our team at a fantastic employer in Wakefield, West Yorkshire. As an Adult Therapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering occupational therapy, speech and language therapy, ELSA, positive behaviour, and educational psychologist advised interventions to students with special education needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with the SENCO, managers, and teachers to understand students' needs.
  • Deliver therapeutic support advised by the therapy team.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience of working with children in education, SEN desirable.
  • A clear understanding of relevant protection procedures as well as Health & Safety.
