Job Title: Domestic Gas Engineer / Plumber

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Domestic Gas Engineer / Plumber to join our team at Ask Recruiting Limited. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, servicing, and maintaining domestic gas boilers and heating systems, as well as plumbing tasks.

Responsibilities:

  • Install and replace domestic gas systems
  • Diagnose gas systems with the aim of achieving a first-time fix
  • Service gas equipment to extend the lifespan of the system
  • Ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to customer regulations
  • Display self-motivation to complete workload within required timeframes
  • Maintain a good attitude towards work

Requirements:

  • Hold necessary Gas Qualifications: CCN1, CEN1, CPA1, HTR1, CENWAT, ACS, Unvented Hot and Cold Water Systems
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience working in the domestic gas field, including 1st and 2nd fixing
  • Experience installing/servicing Air Source heat pumps is preferred but not essential
  • Qualified to NVQ Level 3 Plumbing and Heating
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Full and clean driving license
  • IT competent
  • Ability to pass a DBS check

Desirable Qualifications:

LPG, CKR1, CONGLP1LAV, CONGLP1PD, CONGLP1RPH
