Platinum Recruitment Consultancy is seeking an exceptional Pastry Chef to join the talented team at a stunning Michelin-starred Inn near Carlisle in Cumbria.

Company Overview

The restaurant boasts a Michelin star and has a huge emphasis on using local produce, highlighting local suppliers. The dedicated Head Chef and Sous Chef have a wealth of experience between them, with multiple Michelin stars and 3 AA Rosettes.

Estimated Salary Package

£35,000 per annum, plus tips every three months and temporary accommodation available at £250 per month.

Job Description

This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled and passionate Pastry Chef to showcase their talents and ideas in a family-friendly working environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Head Chef and Sous Chef in achieving further goals, contributing to the production of high-quality pastries and desserts.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A minimum of 3 AA Rosette or Michelin experience
  • A strong passion for pastry making and a commitment to excellence
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • An understanding of local produce and its importance in the kitchen
