Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior/Principal/Associate Geotechnical Engineer/Engineering Geologist to join our team in Birmingham, Cardiff, or Bristol. This is an exciting opportunity to take a leading role in the ground engineering input to some of our most challenging projects.

About the Role

The successful applicant will have a proven technical and project management track record, with a strong academic background and relevant degree. They will have extensive experience in one or more of the following sectors: highways, rail, or water geotechnics, and will be chartered status. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal and technical skills, with the ability to develop and lead design teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Acting in a senior role in a fast-moving engineering consultancy environment
  • Project management, including relationships with clients, work planning, and commercial management
  • Geotechnical design experience, including the application of CDM Regulations
  • Liaising with clients and developing design teams
  • Negotiating and running successful jobs
  • Producing accurate reports and self-checking work
