Consultant Periodontologist

Job overview

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic individual wanting to join a dynamic unit at the forefront of periodontology. The 6 PA post is substantive and available to start immediately. It is a split post primarily based at the Royal National ENT& Eastman Dental Hospital, part of the Specialist Hospitals Board of University College London hospital NHS Foundation Trust with an outreach component at Charing Cross Hospital.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will be a role model and demonstrate a commitment to driving high quality education and expected to be confident in the management of patients with complex treatment needs including surgery and will be able to supervise trainees undertaking such procedures. The outreach component will include a clinical research component alongside the pretreatment assessment and management of oncology patients. A commitment to meeting performance targets and service initiatives and enthusiasm is essential with expectation of strong team working. The post holder is expected to have a high level of knowledge and expertise in the field of periodontology and also clinical research.
