Switchgear and Controls Production Opportunity

About Us:
Manor Switchgear and Controls is a leading provider of high-voltage and low-voltage package substations, switchboards, and motor control centers. We serve customers throughout the UK and Ireland, with end-users in retail, healthcare, leisure, commercial, industrial, and data services.

A permanent opportunity has arisen for an ambitious switchgear and controls production lead to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your career at an ambitious company that is experiencing rapid growth in global critical infrastructure markets.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Oversee the production and assembly of switchgear and control panels.
  2. Work closely with the design team to ensure compliance and project specifications.
  3. Provide leadership to the workshop team and ensure safety standards are upheld.
  4. Assemble electrical switchgear and associated electromechanical equipment/systems to engineering drawings and production timescales.
  5. Oversee the testing of switchgear, control panels, and busbar systems, troubleshooting issues found.
  6. Experience in the field of switchgear or electrical equipment.
  7. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
  8. Flexible approach to work, willingness to learn and be part of a team.
