About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Senior Care Assistant to join our team at Wood Care Group. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, psychological, and social needs are met.

Responsibilities include assisting residents with personal care activities, such as washing, dressing, and assisting with meals. You will also be responsible for leading the medication round and ensuring the smooth operation of the shift.

Requirements
  • Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification
  • Previous experience working in a care home environment is desirable but not essential
  • Experience of leading a team and providing support to colleagues
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing situations
