Cyber Security Engineer Role

About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Engineer to join our team at Atlas Recruitment Group Ltd. As a Cyber Security Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, building, and integrating secure systems for our clients in the defence industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement secure systems and products for our clients
  • Assess and manage risk in line with industry good practice (NIST, ISO 27001)
  • Develop and implement security baselines, mitigations, and controls
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure product development
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging threats

Requirements

  • Relevant degree (or equivalent experience) in a STEM subject or Information Security
  • Recognised industry security qualifications (e.g. CCP, CISSP, CISM)
  • Proven experience in risk assessment and management
  • Significant experience with security baselines, mitigations, and controls
  • Experience with MOD policies and regulations (e.g. SPF, JSP 440, JSP604)
  • Knowledge of Operational Technologies/Industrial Control Systems and approaches to secure them
