About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Cardiology Specialist to join our team at Sandwell & West Birmingham Hospitals NHS Trust. As a Cardiology Specialist, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our Cardiology unit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in the registrar of the week system for inpatients and be on call for cardiology, including assisting at primary PCI.
  • Contribute to the development of our Cardiology unit, including participating in clinical audit and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Provide teaching and training to medical and nursing staff, and other disciplines, on clinical skills and best practices.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care and achieve excellent patient outcomes.

Person Specification
  • Basic Medical Qualification (e.g. MBBS or MB ChB) or MRCP.
  • Written Permission from specialty training program to apply for this fellowship before interview.
  • MRCP.
