About the Role

This is a key position within the Global Trade Compliance function at Rotork, responsible for ensuring continuous improvement and excellence in Customs and Export Control related topics.

Reporting to the Global Trade Compliance Manager, this role will support multiple complex operations and projects within the Global Trade Compliance Team, providing Trade Compliance expertise to the business worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze Harmonised systems and Export Control Classifications worldwide
  • Assist in the deployment of Free Trade Agreements and provide Trade Compliance expertise to the business
  • Identify patterns and trends within complex data sets and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders in a matrixed organisation

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of Trade Compliance subjects in general and in detail
  • Full understanding of HS and ECN classification worldwide
  • Prior experience of mass data review
  • Background in industrial engineering manufacturing environment or similar technical field
