London, Greater London, United Kingdom Dogs Trust Full time
About This Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned Transformation Leader to join our COO Directorate at Dogs Trust. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in driving our organisation’s strategic objectives.

Job Description

The successful candidate will oversee and manage the relocation of our Head Office space in London, including the sale of an owned building and the refit of another owned building to become an innovative, collaborative workspace that meets the needs of our charity. This project requires significant cultural change, which will be managed effectively with strong business readiness activities.

As a Transformation Leader, you will own and drive the project management delivery, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring that the project is delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

  • Manage the end-to-end process of an office relocation, sale of a London property, and associated cultural change, minimising disruption and costs while maximising investment.
  • Lead the positive cultural change process, partnering with our People and Internal Comms teams to support the change of moving to a new way of working across the charity.
  • Design, develop, and implement a digital document management system and collaborative tools to promote effective hybrid working, engaging stakeholders and SMEs throughout the process.
  • Build relationships to engage and influence relevant stakeholders, ensuring appropriate involvement from across the organisation and externally as needed, to achieve the best possible outcomes.
  • Provide project reporting up to Trustee level, offering assurance, managing, and influencing senior stakeholders, and creating Board papers and other communications as required.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will be a seasoned leader and project manager with the ability to navigate and influence in a dynamic environment, engaging and partnering with our stakeholders to drive alignment and outcomes.

You will have a Project Management certification or professional body membership (e.g., Prince2/Agile PM/MSP/PMI/APM) and demonstrable experience running projects that include workplace strategy, significant cultural change, refurbishment, or relocation projects.

As an exceptional communicator and influencer, you will tailor communication approaches and styles to build rapport and trust with colleagues and stakeholders, including at senior levels.
