About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and dedicated Room Leader to join our team at Just Childcare in Hoddesdon, England. As a key member of our nursery staff, you will be responsible for implementing the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum and leading planning for the EYFS curriculum. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate children's records and assuming deputy responsibilities in the absence of the deputy manager if required to do so.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Implement the EYFS Curriculum: Develop and implement high-quality learning experiences that meet the needs of all children, ensuring they reach their full potential.
  2. Lead Planning for the EYFS Curriculum: Plan and deliver engaging and interactive activities that promote learning and development in line with the EYFS framework.
  3. Maintain Accurate Children's Records: Keep detailed and up-to-date records of children's progress, including observations, assessments, and learning journeys.
  4. Assume Deputy Responsibilities: Take on additional responsibilities in the absence of the deputy manager, ensuring the smooth operation of the nursery.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A minimum L3 childcare qualification or equivalent.
  • Preferrable experience as a Room Leader or in a similar role.
  • The ability to provide high standards of quality within the nursery, including the environment, resources, and experiences offered to children.
