The ideal candidate will possess excellent organisation skills, be comfortable in a dynamic environment, and have a detailed understanding of injection moulded components and electronic circuit board design and production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Management: Lead a team of engineers and provide guidance on product maintenance and performance.
- Risk Reduction: Identify and mitigate supply chain risks to ensure business continuity.
- Process Optimisation: Develop and implement efficient manufacturing processes to improve productivity.
- Project Assessment: Conduct thorough project assessments to ensure successful outcomes.
- Component Evaluation: Assess components for durability and quality to meet customer expectations.
- Data Analysis: Use data analysis to deliver superior, sustainable products that meet customer needs.
Requirements:
- Credentials: HNC or Degree in mechanical or electronic engineering.
- Experience: Relevant experience in electronic product design and development.
- Skills: Strong technical background, leadership skills, and delivery of high-quality engineering solutions.
- Knowledge: Understanding of quality, reliability, and risk assessment procedures, as well as knowledge of safety standards and exposure to regulated industries.
