Job Title: Mechanic

BR Car Sales Ltd is seeking a skilled and dedicated Mechanic to join our team in Glenrothes, Fife.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for prepping vehicles for sale, performing MOT repairs and servicing, fitting clutches and timing belts, and contributing to the smooth day-to-day operations of our workshop.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of vehicles for sale, including cleaning and detailing
  • Performing MOT repairs and servicing, including oil changes and brake repairs
  • Fitting clutches and timing belts, and other mechanical components
  • Contributing to the smooth day-to-day operations of the workshop, including tidying up and assisting other mechanics
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in working to high standards in all aspects of mechanical repair
  • A valid driver's license is essential, and while being an MOT tester is a plus, it's not required
  • A positive outlook and a flexible approach
  • The ability to manage your own workload
