Senior Electrical Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team at Omega Resource Group. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for the conceptual design and engineering of low voltage power systems, including industrial drive systems, power conversion, and power generation applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement electrical concept designs and definitions for low voltage power systems
  • Conduct detailed design studies and calculations to ensure compliance with industry regulations and client specifications
  • Coordinate with the Hardware Design team to review and approve detailed designs
  • Maintain the Technical Construction File and ensure accurate documentation
  • Perform Factory Acceptance Testing and Commissioning and Site Acceptance Testing
  • Comply with relevant industry regulations, client specifications, and internal standards
  • Meet project milestones and promote continuous improvement
  • Mentor less-experienced engineers and contribute to the growth and development of the team

Requirements

  • BEng / BSE / Level 6 Apprenticeship in Electrical / Electronic Engineering
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Excellent understanding of electrical control systems, low voltage power supply and distribution, power conversion, and power generation concepts
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Confident and proactive with an organized approach to work
  • Situational adaptability and good problem-solving skills
