Job Summary:

OT Squared is seeking an experienced Construction Site Manager to oversee an upcoming project for one of our long-standing clients. As a Construction Site Manager, you will be responsible for managing and supervising all on-site activities to ensure the successful completion of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Coordinate and supervise all construction activities on site, including subcontractors, suppliers, and staff.
  • Monitor compliance with health and safety regulations and implement best practices to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work is carried out according to plans, specifications, and quality standards.
  • Manage site documentation, including reports, schedules, and project plans.
  • Liaise with the project manager, clients, architects, and engineers to resolve any issues or discrepancies.
  • Track project progress and report on milestones, risks, and any potential delays.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Construction Site Manager or similar role in the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, methods, and materials.
  • Excellent understanding of health and safety regulations and risk management.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
  • Exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in project management software and other relevant tools.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid) are highly desirable.
  • A degree or diploma in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
