Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team in Birmingham. As an Estimator, you will be responsible for providing accurate and detailed quotations to clients in the commercial and residential sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaise with clients to understand their requirements and provide quotations for faade cladding solutions.
- Keep up-to-date with product cost lists and pricing for various faade materials.
- Perform drawing take-offs using AutoCAD software to calculate the required area of faade cladding product.
- Prepare and submit quotations to clients, including product costs, margins, and other relevant information.
- Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction with quotations and provide additional information as needed.
- Work closely with the project management team to ensure smooth project execution.
Requirements:
- Background in the construction industry, preferably in the faade or fenestration sector.
- Experience in pricing or estimating, including calculating selling prices with margins.
- Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.) and AutoCAD.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
