We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Manager to join our team at Nylaplas Engineering Limited. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our warehouse, ensuring that all processes are executed efficiently and accurately.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operations Management: Oversee the receipt, storage, and shipping of products, ensuring that all processes are executed efficiently and accurately.
  • Staff Supervision: Lead, supervise, and mentor a team of warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and performance management.
  • Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels, perform regular stock audits, and implement inventory control systems to reduce errors and improve order fulfillment accuracy.
  • Despatching and Goods In: Manage the accurate receiving of raw materials, ensure products are inspected, labelled, and stored correctly, and manage outbound deliveries.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure the warehouse complies with all relevant health and safety regulations, conduct regular safety audits, and maintain a clean and organised warehouse environment.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate warehouse processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement process improvements to increase productivity, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Reporting and Communication: Prepare and present regular reports on warehouse performance, communicate effectively with other departments, and address and resolve any issues or discrepancies that arise within the warehouse.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or Stores Supervisor.
  • Fork lift operator with a strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics.
  • Experience in Aerospace or other highly regulated industries where material traceability is key.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in warehouse management software (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to warehouse operations.
