Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced sales professional to join our team as an Area Sales Representative. In this role, you will be responsible for selling plastic building products to general builders, commercial contractors, bathroom installers, and other key clients in the North East region. You will need to have a strong understanding of the construction industry and be able to develop and maintain relationships with customers to drive sales growth. The ideal candidate will have construction sales experience and knowledge of the local market.
You will spend most of your time in external field sales, selling to various clients, including general builders, commercial contractors, bathroom installers, roofing contractors, and others. You will be required to manage your own territory, build relationships with clients, and meet or exceed sales targets. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to step into field sales or expand their sales career in the construction industry.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of the construction industry, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to work independently. A proven track record of sales success, particularly in the construction sector, is essential. You will also need to be motivated, driven, and confident, with a strong outgoing personality. Computer literacy is a must, and knowledge of plastic building products would be advantageous.
Benefits
We offer a competitive salary range of £35,000-£45,000 per annum, plus bonus, which will be determined based on your experience. You will also receive an electric company car or a £345 per month car allowance and a comprehensive benefits package.
